MV Aureum

MV Aureum is a purpose-designed 36-guest expedition vessel built for intimate exploration of Antarctica and South Georgia. With four Zodiacs, six senior polar guides and a 1:6 guide-to-guest ratio, the ship offers exceptional flexibility and more time ashore, allowing expeditions to adapt to wildlife, weather and ice conditions. Open decks, a forward observation deck and an open-door bridge provide outstanding vantage points for wildlife watching and photography, while the lounge, restaurant, wellness area, sauna, hot tub and gym offer a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. Hybrid diesel-electric propulsion with battery support helps reduce emissions and underwater noise, complementing the vessel’s 1C ice-class rating and active fin stabilisers.
