    Day 1Azam Marine (Zanzibar)​

     
    Embark on the voyage of a lifetime from Zanzibar. Settle into your luxurious design suite on board Aqua Lares and meet your Cruise Director and Naturalist Guides. Enroute to our first destination, enjoy panoramic views from the sundeck and indulge in your first taste of the signature Aqua dining experience.​

    Day 2Kilindoni Bay & Mange, Mafia Island​

     
    The day begins at Mafia Island — renowned for its calm, turquoise waters and as the only island in Tanzania regularly frequented by whale sharks. At Kilindoni Bay, guests can snorkel alongside these gentle giants before returning on board for lunch. After lunch, enjoy a snorkel or dive off vessel before we sail off to Mange, a pristine sandbank off the coast of Mafia Island. As evening approaches, enjoy sundowners at the Outdoor Lounge while taking in the coastal views.​

    Day 3Chole Bay, Mafia Island​

     
    Wake up to views of Chole Bay on Mafia Island, where crystal-clear lagoon waters and vibrant coral reefs await exploration. Begin the morning with snorkeling or diving excursions to discover colorful coral gardens and schools of tropical fish gliding through the shallows. After lunch, enjoy a cultural tour of the island, where a walk through the local village reveals Swahili heritage, local crafts, and ongoing conservation initiatives. As evening approaches, unwind with sundowners while reflecting on the day’s discoveries.​

    Day 4At Sea

     
    As we spend the day sailing towards Seychelles, treat yourself to some R&R at the onboard spa or jacuzzi. For the avid birdwatchers, being out at sea presents the opportunity to spot red-footed boobies soaring overhead in their hunt for flying fish. If you wish, sit in for presentations by our expert naturalist guides to learn more about the regional geology, flora, and fauna. Savor world-class dining throughout the day and end the evening with stargazing from the sundeck.​

    Day 5Assumption Island, Aldabra​

     
    As we spend the day at Assumption Island, enjoy a slower pace of life on board, with time to relax and take in the views of this remote and untouched atoll. Unwind on deck as turquoise waters stretch in every direction, or retreat to the comfort of your suite between moments of quiet reflection. Keep an eye out for seabirds gliding overhead and the occasional marine life breaking the surface. As the day unfolds, savor world-class dining and end the evening with sundowners, surrounded by the stillness of one of the Indian Ocean’s most secluded outposts.​

    Day 6Aldabra Atoll, Aldabra​

    Wake up to views of Aldabra, a coral atoll known to harbor one of the world’s most isolated ecosystems. Aldabra is home to the largest population of giant tortoises on the planet, with more than 100,000 of these incredible creatures roaming the atoll’s four islands. In the morning, we visit the Aldabra Research Station and old settlement before heading to the island’s west side for a snorkel or dive. In the afternoon, drift diving excursion to discover the surrounding waters, home to a thriving population of tropical fish, sharks, sea turtles, and occasional manta ray sightings.​

    Day 7Astove Island, Aldabra​

     
    Astove is known to be one of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the Indian Ocean courtesy of the Astove Wall. Often described as the underwater Grand Canyon, this four-mile-long wall is covered in soft corals and frequented by marine life including rays, sharks, and reef fish. It features plunging depths and incredible visibility that can extend up to 40 meters. Astove is a bucket-list item for every avid underwater explorer.​

    Day 8Providence Atoll, Farquhar​

     
    Explore Providence Atoll with its vibrant azure waters, rich marine life, and abundance of seabirds including red-footed boobies. Snorkelers and divers get a chance to be among the few to explore undiscovered coral reefs around these islands.​

    Day 9Saint-Francois Atoll, Alphonse​

     
    In the morning, we head out on tenders to Saint-Francois Atoll for the opportunity to spot juvenile sharks, crabs, and crab plovers in the mangroves. This atoll also presents snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and paddleboarding opportunities to see huge coral formations in the lagoons and surrounding barrier reef. After lunch, we continue our exploration of the Alphonse group of islands. While there, discover a lush coconut forest and enjoy a dive or snorkel along the shore to discover stunning hard coral formations teeming with marine life.​

    Day 10D’Arros Island, Amirante​

     
    We head to D’Arros Island, a secluded, privately owned coral cay in the Amirantes Group, renowned for its pristine ecosystem and rich marine environment. Managed by the Save Our Seas Foundation for conservation, the island is surrounded by waters teeming with sharks, rays, and sea turtles. Begin the morning with diving or snorkeling at St Joseph Channel, then explore Turtle Town in the afternoon for more underwater encounters. We cap off the day with a delicious dinner on board as we sail onward.​

    Day 11L'Escale Marina (Mahe)

    Start the day at Mange, where a morning of relaxation at Aqua Lares’ Beach Club awaits, surrounded by vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. After lunch, we arrive at Chole Bay, where crystal-clear lagoon waters invite exploration. Depending on the tide, snorkeling and diving excursions reveal colorful coral gardens and schools of tropical fish gliding through the shallows, while kayaking through the lagoon offers a serene perspective.

    Day 12Azam Marine (Zanzibar)

    Enjoy breakfast and savor the views aboard Aqua Lares one more time before saying goodbye to the crew. After disembarking, guests may opt for a guided excursion — until around 10:30AM — through Stone Town’s historic alleyways before continuing their onward journey.​
