I’m Inés, from Junín, Buenos Aires, and I grew up surrounded by a large family who remain a fundamental pillar in my life. My parents instilled in me a love of sport from a young age, so I spent many of my Saturdays playing field hockey and learning about teamwork.
In 2008 I moved to Buenos Aires to study. After a few years studying Psychology, I discovered my path lay elsewhere and ended up switching to Human Resources, the degree I ultimately graduated with.
In 2013 I embarked on a Work & Travel experience in Park City, United States — a trip that truly changed my life. I met people from all over the world, all with the same eagerness to travel, discover, and enjoy new experiences. It was that adventurous spirit that, not long after, brought me to San Martín de los Andes, the place I chose to build my life.
It was here that my passion for photography was born and, eight years later, so was my son, Benja. Being a mother is, without a doubt, the greatest challenge I’ve ever faced. It taught me to slow down, to enjoy the present more, and to understand the meaning of the famous phrase “one day at a time.”
I’m a very calm person, with a lot of patience, and I believe the pace of the city, the tranquility, and the nature are what make me choose San Martín de los Andes as the place I continue to call home.
A few years ago I started working in accounting, and today I focus on administration — the role I currently hold at Antarctica Travels, where I hope to keep growing professionally, surrounded by a great team.
