Antarctica Travels was founded by Alicia Petiet some 24 years ago. Back in 2000, she was the first independent agent in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego to sell Antarctic voyages. Back then she noticed travellers arriving in Ushuaia looking for a last minute Antarctic trip were not being adequately served. Now, after more than two decades, Antarctica Travels is a thriving company run by a passion fueled team led by Carolina, a seasoned expedition guide and Polar Region specialist with more than 25 years of first hand and solid experience in the Travel Industry.
The Antarctica Travels’ team takes pride in being the only Polar Travel Specialist to have been on board all vessels sailing in High Latitudes to both the Arctic and Antarctic oceans. Amongst Alicia, Caro and the team we completed well over 300 voyages and we have friends and personally know members of the expedition team on board every vessel we represent.
